Trek is the 7th & 8th Grade ministry at Crete Berean Church, designed specifically for middle school students who are navigating a season of big questions, new friendships, and growing independence.

We meet Wednesday nights during the school year from 6:30–8:00 PM at Jody Vondra’s home. Trek provides a welcoming, relaxed environment where students can build meaningful friendships, have fun, and grow in their understanding of God’s Word.

What to Expect

Each Trek night includes:

📖 Biblical Teaching – Engaging, age-appropriate lessons that help students understand and apply Scripture to everyday life.

🍽️ Delicious Homecooked Meal – Every week, students gather together for food and fellowship while enjoying a homecooked meal. 

🎉 Games & Connection – Plenty of fun, laughter, and relationship building.

🙏 Prayer & Encouragement – Learning how to trust and follow Jesus in the middle school years.

Join Us!

Trek meets September through April. If you have a 7th or 8th grader, we would love for them to be part of Trek. All 7th and 8th graders are welcome. Come ready to learn, grow, and have fun.

Why Trek?

Middle school can be a challenging season. Trek exists to:

  • Help students develop a strong foundation in their faith

  • Encourage authentic friendships

  • Equip them to live out their faith at school, at home, and in their community

  • Remind them they are known, valued, and loved

Our desire is to partner with families as we guide students toward a deeper relationship with Christ.
